Some Christians believe there are many anointings, but the Scripture above refers to the anointing in the singular. We have received one anointing—the anointing of the Holy Spirit—and He abides in us forever.
We don’t have a different anointing for finances, marriage, healing, etc. However, we have diverse grace, and grace can be multiplied through the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Bible speaks of every kind of grace. There’s grace for ministry, finances, healing, and for every aspect of your life. Whatever you require, there’s grace for it. So, don’t pray for the anointing upon your life to increase. You’re already anointed, and it’s not going to increase. Rather, study and apply the Word of God in the area where you need more grace, and the anointing will be directed to that area to make a lasting impact.
