Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
Just as a mirror reflects our physical appearance, the Word of God reflects our spiritual state. It shows us who we are and who we can become in Christ.
Take the story of Peter, who walked on water. When he kept his eyes on Jesus, he experienced the miraculous. However, when he looked away, fear took over, and he began to sink. This illustrates the Mirror Principle: when we focus on God’s Word and our identity in Him, we can achieve extraordinary things. But if we forget our reflection in the Word, we risk losing sight of who we truly are.
Prayer Point
Dear Lord, help me to see myself through Your Word. Teach me to reflect on my actions and thoughts, aligning them with Your truth. May I remember my identity in Christ and live boldly for You. Amen!
