Some fish swim upstream, but it takes far more effort than flowing with the current. Everything becomes harder, progress is slower, energy is drained, and resistance is constant. Life’s experience is the same when honour is missing. It’s like trying to jump off the ground while standing on your head.
The anointing adds fluidity where there would normally be friction; you do more with less effort. Still, God designed the anointing to flow in a specific order: it starts at the head and flows downward.
When you recognise and give honour to those God has placed over you, you’ll be rightly positioned to receive the oil. The anointing you honour is the anointing you attract.
