The human body constantly emits and receives energy. We’re transmitters and receivers, functioning much like living antennas. This is why Scripture gives clear instructions about physical and spiritual contact. When hands are laid, anointing is always transferred, whether it’s of God or not.
Because transmission is inevitable, discernment is essential. The Bible does not say to avoid impartation altogether; it says not to allow it suddenly. There must be proven clarity of the source. Like a river, oil flows from the head downward. If the head is polluted, everything downstream is affected; and it doesn’t take much to pollute what was once pure.
Anything with more than one head is a monster. Spiritual confusion comes from receiving from too many voices. God assigns one primary voice, one head, one source of revelation from which your oil flows. In this Year of Strange Oil, be deliberate about whose hands, words, and spirit you receive from. Protect your oil.
