Goodness isn’t something you chase; it flows naturally from a life aligned with God. When you understand your identity in Christ, goodness becomes your atmosphere. You don’t struggle to do good; you flow in it because God’s nature works through you.
Joseph, betrayed, sold into slavery and imprisoned, never let bitterness control him. Instead, he acted with excellence, kindness, and integrity. His awareness of God’s presence everywhere made him live in goodness, which brought him favour from Potiphar’s house to the palace.
Following goodness means choosing the correct response even when life feels unfair. It involves speaking kindly, forgiving quickly, and trusting God when things don’t make sense. Goodness is a spiritual flow powered by the Holy Spirit. Staying connected to God through prayer and His Word allows goodness to flow naturally. Remember, goodness is strength, not weakness.
