Every believer has a divine fire of purpose, passion, and the Holy Spirit, ignited when you received Christ. It must be fuelled intentionally, as fire grows when fed and fades when neglected. God placed gifts inside you, and it’s your responsibility to stir them up.
Jeremiah felt discouraged and said God’s Word was like “a burning fire shut up in my bones” (Jeremiah 20:9). When fuelled by intimacy with God, this fire can’t be quenched. Jeremiah’s fire kept him speaking, believing, and standing firm amid challenges.
You fuel this fire through prayer, reading the Word, worship, and staying connected to godly voices. Feed your spirit daily to avoid dryness. When your fire burns, fear diminishes, confidence rises, and purpose becomes clear. Don’t let distractions, doubt, or pressure extinguish what God ignited.
