Salvation is not about behaviour modification; it is a complete renewal. When you receive Christ, God doesn’t just repair your old life; He gives you a completely new one, called in Hebrew Kainos. Your past no longer defines you. Your identity is now rooted in Christ, not in mistakes, labels, or opinions.

Saul was once a persecutor of Christians, but after meeting Jesus on the road to Damascus, everything changed (Acts 9). Paul did not slowly become new; he became new instantly. His past no longer dictated his future. God renamed him, redirected him, and released him into purpose.

You may sometimes feel trapped by who you used to be or what others say about you. But in Christ, you have a new nature, new desires, and new potential. You are not trying to become new; you already are. The more you grasp this truth, the more confidently you will live. Being a new creation means you can start anew every day with boldness and joy.
