Philippians 3:8 (NKJV)

Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.

Surrender isn’t about giving up but about giving God full access to your life. True surrender shows your value. When you see Christ clearly, everything else becomes secondary. Surrender flows from understanding who Jesus is and who you are in Him.

In Scripture, Apostle Paul states that everything he valued, status, achievements, ambition, was nothing compared to knowing Christ. Paul was powerful in revelation and knew that gaining Christ was greater than worldly offers. Surrender is an exchange: letting go of the limited to receive the eternal.

Surrender is tough, especially when trusting God with your future, friendships, dreams, or reputation. It doesn’t erase your identity but reveals it. Yielding to Christ shapes decisions and guides you without losing control. God invites you to surrender to His fullness, making obedience easy, joy natural, and purpose clear.

Prayer Point

Lord Jesus, help me to see You as my greatest treasure. Teach me to surrender willingly and trust You completely with my life. Amen
