You may have heard of the term “love languages”, the ways people express love based on how they want to receive it. Some show love through words, others through actions, gifts, or time. But have you ever thought about God’s love language? How does the Creator of the universe receive love? Our scripture today gives the answer: by following His Word.
Saying you love God with words alone is not enough. The Bible shows us this through Abraham, who demonstrated his love by his willingness to sacrifice Isaac. By obeying God’s command, Abraham proved his love in action.
The moment God sees you following His Word and living it out, that is the moment He knows you truly love Him. Aligning your choices with His instructions, doing what He says when He says it, and walking in obedience bridges the gap between knowing God and experiencing His presence. True love for God is shown through faithful action.
