Believing is not faith, and faith is not believing. Just as a lion is not a zebra, and a zebra is not a lion. Believing is only the starting point, but it cannot change the circumstances if substance is not added to it. Faith on the other hand, changes the circumstances.
What is faith, and what is believing then? Faith is acting upon what you believe, whilst believing is done in the heart and ends there. So, faith is believing that has been expressed through actions outside the heart. Teens if you say you believe God’s Word but won’t act on it, it will be unproductive.
God’s Word must be acted upon, and when it is acted upon after the heart has believed, and your external actions correspond with what you believe on the inside, faith is formed. Faith should be a daily practice for every born-again Christian. Hear more of God’s Word and act on it, your Faith will increase.
