There’s a popular phrase, “a penny for your thoughts,” which comes from the idea of wanting to purchase the thoughts of an individual, especially when they’re quiet or seem lost in thought. It’s often said in jest, but did you know your thoughts are one of your most valuable possessions to God?
True wealth is in your thoughts. Literature, radio, and television compete for space in your mind on a daily basis. As a child of God, it’s your duty to learn to give room for your personal development and fellowship with Christ through His Word. Give your mind to Christ. Without doing so, you may not see what troubles you are subjecting your life to until it’s too late.
