Whilst all convictions in a court of law are said to be established on the basis of truth, experts estimate that a percentage of convicts are unjustly imprisoned. This is not necessarily because judges or juries make poor decisions based on the evidence presented, but because their judgments are not based on God’s perfect truth.
A life in Christ goes beyond man’s misjudgements; it knows the heart. The truth of who He is surpasses facts and uncovers our very motives. Knowing that Jesus is the truth affirms the foundation of every word in the scriptures. Just as He is true and unchanging, so are His promises. When He declared healing, provision, and protection, it wasn’t the error of a jury or judge; it was infallible words spoken by Truth Himself!
