Romans 12:2 (KJV)

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The word ‘conformed’ in the above scripture means to ‘follow another’s pattern to fashion alike’. Christianity is now full of compromise. We have become too worldly in our approach to all things spiritual. We have followed the pattern of the world and brought into the sacred courts of our Churches.

Dance the same way as those in night clubs, you’ll see half-dressed Christians entering the Church halls without reverence to the sacredness of the sanctuary. Some even go further as to fist fight in the house of God. This all shows the Church is active but the world is more active inside the Church.

Decide today to stand for the word of God and never conform to evil. Let the Holy Spirit lead in everything you do, then you will find yourself not compromising but only pleasing God.

Prayer Point

Dear God strengthen me to stand firm in truth. Help me not to compromise my faith and obedience to You. Let Your Holy Spirit lead me to everything that is pure, honourable and right in Your eyes. Amen.
