2 Corinthians 6:2

For he says, ‘In the time of my favour, I heard you, and in the day of salvation, I helped you.’ I tell you, now is the time of God’s favour, now is the day of salvation.

As Christians, we must seize the opportunity to act on God’s promises. Too often, we wait for the "perfect" time to pursue our goals or make changes in our lives. Nonetheless, the Bible urges us to act now, as God’s favour is available to us at this very moment.

The story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19:1-10 illustrates this. When he heard Jesus was passing through Jericho, he didn’t hesitate. Despite being short and facing a crowd, he climbed a sycamore tree to catch a glimpse of Jesus. His immediate action led to a personal encounter with Christ, transforming his life forever. Zacchaeus didn’t wait for a better opportunity; he acted without delay.

Don’t procrastinate when it comes to your relationship with God. Whether it’s serving others, studying hard, or pursuing your dreams, act now!

Prayer Point

Dear Lord, help me to recognise the opportunities You place before me. Grant me the courage to act now and without delay, trusting in Your timing and guidance. Amen
