When God told Abraham to leave his home and family, he had no map, no timeline, and no crowd cheering him on. Abraham’s obedience was personal. It was between him and God. Though the journey was lonely, the reward was a generational blessing. Because Abraham obeyed, nations were born from his faith.

Choosing obedience may mean standing alone when others compromise, mock your faith, or take an easier path. But remember, God often hides His most significant rewards on paths few are willing to walk. Obedience may cost you approval, but it will never cost you God’s presence. When you obey God, you may walk alone, but you are never without Him.
