Fear is one of the biggest weapons used against young people. It shows up as fear of failure, rejection, the future, or not being good enough. Fear tries to keep you stuck, silent, and unsure of yourself. But the Bible is clear, fear does not come from God. God did not place fear in you.
Fear exaggerates problems and minimizes God’s ability, but faith does the opposite. Faith reminds you that God is present, capable, and faithful. Saying no to fear does not mean you never feel nervous. It means you refuse to let fear make your decisions.
Your future is too important to be ruled by fear. God has plans for your life, speak God’s word when fear speaks lies.
