In emergencies, people call 911 for immediate help. Spiritually, God has already given you a direct line, His presence. Psalm 91 reminds us that when you stay close to God, you live under His protection.
There is no secret place out there, Jesus is the secret place and He is living on the inside of you. When you have that understanding instead of resorting to panic you can choose prayer. When trouble shows up unexpectedly, God is not scrambling, He is already there.
Make His presence your daily habit. When you stay close, storms do not destroy you, they develop you. God is your spiritual emergency response, always available and never offline.
