You have the same life God has; it’s a present reality. John 3:16 says that whoever believes in Christ should not perish but have everlasting life. The new creation in Christ is not meant to live under the expectation of death. You must possess zōé, life as God has it, now.
Simeon received a revelation from the Holy Spirit that he would not see death until he saw the Messiah. Yet you have more than a revelation than Simeon: the life-giving Spirit now lives in you. Romans tells us that the same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead quickens your mortal body, continually imparting life, strength, and regeneration to your physical being.
Make up your mind that you shall not die. Decide. Believe. Tell yourself, “I’ll be alive and well when the Lord comes.” Live!
