Have you noticed that when travelling by aeroplane, turbulence can often be at its worst during ascent or descent? That instability can accompany changes in altitude or the aircraft’s movement into a new level of air. In the same way, many Christians face “turbulent” situations and assume the devil is succeeding or that their lives are in decline. Yet what feels like resistance may in fact be evidence of elevation.
Certain testimonies require the backdrop of struggle or a season of refinement so that the glory of the Lord is made known to those who witness it. Do not worry or stress when your circumstances seem difficult; God is causing you to rise higher than you have ever been before. Your current state is proof that He is not done with you yet.
