Purpose attracts opposition. Before Jesus spoke a word or worked a miracle, the enemy targeted His life. Opposition often shows up early when destiny is present. God’s response was not confrontation at first but preservation: flee!
Scripture shows that fleeing can be a faith strategy. In Potiphar’s house, Joseph fled immorality to preserve purity. David fled from Saul to preserve calling. Paul was lowered in a basket to escape danger and live to preach another day.
Joseph, the husband of Mary, was instructed to flee to preserve the young child’s life. But there comes a moment when God declares, “They are dead which sought your life.” The season shifts, and the enemy that once chased you is now the one being pursued. The God of Angel Armies fights for you. Stop running and advance. It’s now the enemy’s turn to run!
