An extraterrestrial is commonly understood as a being from outside Earth: an alien life form from another planet. Christians can rightly be described as extraterrestrials. We’re foreigners on Earth, citizens of Heaven temporarily living among those we are called to reconcile to Christ.
While living in a foreign country, you may learn the language and respect certain local customs, but your loyalty remains with your homeland. Your values, decisions, and sense of identity come from there. You may look like everyone else, but you’re different. Your speech, priorities, and responses reveal where you truly belong.
Heroes in the faith were known as strangers on the earth. Apostle Peter identifies us as foreigners and exiles. Earth is your assignment, not your origin. You’re just stationed here. Heaven is your true home; Earth is just a visit.
